IHSCM Upcoming Events

HSCM Round Table: Sustainable Solutions for Systemic Challenges

15th January, 12:00 – 13:00, Microsoft Teams

Join us to explore how sustainability in health and social care can be both practical and transformative, shaping resilient systems that care for people and the planet in our new Greener Care Series for 2026.

The first round table examines the deeper systemic and organisational factors that shape the pace and success of sustainable transformation in health and social care. We’ll explore what “readiness” really looks like, how leaders can build confidence across teams, how to address eco‑anxiety and change fatigue, and how to reduce competition between specialties to create shared ownership of greener care. The discussion will also highlight opportunities for cross‑trust and cross‑sector collaboration.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, attendees will gain:

✅ A shared understanding of the system wide challenges shaping greener care

✅ Early identification of priority areas for action within their own organisations

✅ A strong foundation for deeper exploration in the upcoming sessions in this series
