The Final Proposals Have Been Published For The Fair Pay Agreement

Key proposals include:

• A new Adult Social Care Negotiating Body to be established by the end of the year bringing together trade unions and employers in regular negotiations on behalf of the sector. The regular negotiations will give care providers and workers a voice on key issues including pay, terms and conditions, and wider employment matters.
• A commitment of £500 million from the government in 2028/29 to support the first Fair Pay Agreement, with the details to be determined through the negotiations.
