What we learnt at our first meeting

The group we have created isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about collaboration, sharing experiences, and learning together. From Co-Pilot to ChatGPT, Magic Notes to Ask Genius, the tools are out there, and some of the attendees at our focus group have already been testing them in creative and practical ways.

Some early takeaways:

• AI is improving productivity, from summarising emails to drafting reports, even assisting with dyslexia.
• Tools like Co-Pilot and Ask Atlas are empowering learning and saving precious time.
• Data privacy and ethics are key, AI must be used mindfully and responsibly.
• We need more voices from across the sector, tech-savvy or not. Everyone has something to gain and something to share.
• Even small wins (saving 3 minutes!) can free up time to focus on what really matters, the people we support.

💡 As someone said today: “AI, used correctly, is an enabler. It can help people live better lives.”

We’re just getting started. This group will be a space to:
✔ Co-produce solutions
✔ Share hints, tips, and tools
✔ Learn what’s working (and what’s not)
✔ Build something meaningful for our sector
